On 20 and 21 June we partnered with the Small Enterprise Development Agency (SEDA) to facilitate bookkeeping training at the SEDA offices in Port Shepstone. Here 20 selected SMMEs across hospitality and tourism were equipped with business transactions and money management skills to create investment opportunities.

KZN Youth Entrepreneurship Seminar
On 26 June, we accompanied three SMMEs from Ugu District to the provincial youth entrepreneurship seminar in iXopo, organised by TKZN and other stakeholders. The seminar provided young entrepreneurs with valuable information on business development programmes, and the opportunity to present their business concept to potential funders. Five businesses were selected to enter the programme with Mbongeni Mthembu of Monate Outdoors from Gamalakhe among them.
