By 2035, KZN South Coast is set to become KZN’s leading regional tourism and investment destination.

South Coast Tourism and Investment Enterprise (SCTIE) was established following the merger of two municipal entities; Ugu South Coast Tourism (USCT) and Ugu South Coast Development Agency (USCDA). SCTIE is now the official economic development arm of Ugu District, tasked with unlocking the full tourism and investment potential of the region.

SCTIE promotes and facilitates direct investment to untap opportunities in the value chain and niche markets of KZN South Coast key economic sectors. These include:

  • Tourism
  • Agriculture
  • Manufacturing
  • Real Estate
  • The Ocean Economy
  • Logistics and transport

The KZN South Coast is a warm and unique tourism destination, marketed and promoted by SCTIE to position it as an attractive region for investment. SCTIE will identify key investment opportunities, engage with private sector and government stakeholders, work towards eliminating barriers, and encourage access to incentives that support local and international investment.

If you’re interested in exploring the unlimited investment opportunities in various sectors along the Paradise of the Zulu Kingdom, you are in the right place!
